AN OBSERVATIONAL, SELF-DEPRECATING, SOMETIMES UNCOMFORTABLE, BUT OCCASIONALLY INSIGHTFUL LOG OF A 20-YEAR-OLD CITY KID'S SARATOGA SUMMER

Friday pick six

A couple of quick thoughts because it's starting to get quite busy and hot around here. Only looked at the fourth through the ninth and am still looking for Chuck so we can go in on a ticket.

The fourth and the seventh are the places I'd spread, with one inscrutable baby race and a very competitive turf heat. I think Coa's horse is a pretty solid single in the fifth, same with Miss Macy Sue and Fort Carillon in the eighth and ninth, respectively. Liking the 2 and the 3 in the two-year-old grass race, so if I can't find Chuck or someone else to chip in, I'll just try to hammer the last five races and leave the fourth to the birds.
